Please keep Evening Surgeries free for people who work and cannot attend during the morning. Please contact the surgery as soon as is possible if you are unable to attend for any appointment you have made, so that your appointment may be cancelled and be made available to offer to other patients.
Violent and Abusive Behaviour
Violent and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated within the surgery. Any patient found to be violent and or abusive towards the Doctor, any member of staff or other patients will be asked to leave the surgery and will be removed from our register with IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
Dispensing at Glan Conwy
Glan Conwy Surgery is a dispensing surgery. Patients living in and around the Glan Conwy area can have their prescriptions dispensed at the Surgery. For details please enquire with the receptionist.
Urgent Appointments
If you have a problem that you feel needs attention on the same day, please explain this to the receptionist and you will be given an appointment.
Home Visits (Phone main surgery before 11am)
If you are unable to attend the Surgery for an emergency consultation and are too ill to leave your home please telephone the Main Surgery 581172 before 11am if possible.
Please note that your Doctor will be attending patients in the Surgery from 9:15am to 12noon. If a home visit is URGENT please advise the receptionist of this.
Telephone Advice
If you need advice directly from the Doctor, please explain this to the receptionist. The receptionists have been asked not to interupt the Doctor, if he is with a patient unless your call is URGENT. You may therefore be asked to phone back or to leave a telephone number for the Doctor to contact you when he is free.

Newly Registered Patients
All newly registered patients over 5 years of age are requested to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse for a new patient health check.
Disabled Access
Disabled access is via the main entrance with a door bell for further assistance.The waiting room, consulting room, treatment area and toilet are all on the ground floor with easy access for wheelchairs.
