Out of Hours Calls (For Medical Emergencies Only)

Who do I call if I need a doctor outside of hours?

Telephone 01492 581172.  You will hear a message on the answer phone giving you another number to call the out-of-hours service.  Alternatively, you can call the out-of-hours service direct on 0844 8118181.  This service is called The Conwy & Denbighshire Out of Hours Service.  Where appropriate you may be invited to attend the treatment centre as before.

Can I just ring for advice?

Yes, of course, but please remember that this service is for urgent cases only.  However, if you are worried about any serious medical condition you can contact the service for advice.

PLEASE REMEMBER

The treatment centres are not drop in centres.  Patients will only be seen by prior arrangement following a telephone call.

If patients turn up at a treatment centre without prior arrangement , there may not be a doctor in attendance as he/she may be making home visits or attending another treatment centre.
